Working part-time while enrolled at Loyola is a great way to offset the cost of your education. The Federal Work-Study Program provides part-time employment as part of your financial aid package. Loyola will help place you in an appropriate on- or off-campus job to meet the hours awarded in your Financial Aid Award letter.
Loans
Student Loans
Loans allow you to spread the cost of education over time through scheduled repayments. All need-based financial aid awards at Loyola will include federal loans. You are not required to accept the loan portion of your financial aid package, but we cannot offer additional grant or scholarship assistance if you choose to decline your federal loans.

Understand My Costs
Understand My Costs
As you develop a plan to finance your college education, it is important to understand the total cost. Total cost is a combination of direct and indirect costs. Direct costs include tuition, fees, room and meal plan. These are the costs most students consider first when budgeting for their education. In addition to direct cost, students should consider indirect costs such as books, transportation and living expenses. A sound plan needs to account for both direct and indirect cost.
